Affiliate Disclosure
Transparency is our top priority. Here is how LaptopDuniya keeps running as a free platform.
In compliance with the FTC guidelines and online advertising regulations, we want to declare that LaptopDuniya uses affiliate referral links. When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a small referral commission.
1. What is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a special URL that contains tracking codes. If you click on one of our laptop listing store buttons (e.g. "Buy from Amazon" or "Buy from Flipkart") and make a purchase within a specific cookie duration, the store pays us a small percentage of the order value as a commission.
Crucially, this commission comes at absolutely ZERO additional cost to you. The prices you pay are exactly the same as buying directly.
2. Which Affiliate Programs Do We Use?
LaptopDuniya participates in several affiliate advertising networks, including but not limited to:
- Amazon Associates Program (India)
- Flipkart Affiliate Program
- Croma and Reliance Digital Affiliate links
- Direct Brand Store Affiliate Networks (ASUS, Dell, Lenovo, HP, Acer, Samsung, etc.)
3. How Does This Benefit You?
Affiliate commissions allow us to:
- Maintain, develop, and host the LaptopDuniya servers without charging users subscription fees.
- Fund our Cashback Program, sharing a portion of our earned commission back with you as a cashback incentive!
- Avoid annoying full-page pop-ups and overlay advertising by generating organic referral revenues.
4. Does it Influence Our Reviews?
No. Our editorial reviews, ratings, and pros/cons lists are compiled independently based on test benchmarks, customer reports, and tech specifications. We recommend the best laptops irrespective of their affiliate commission rates. If a laptop has problems, we explicitly outline them in the "Cons" section.
